OMI Information Management Software
The OMI is a statewide public/private partnership dedicated to strengthening families and helping couples who choose marriage for themselves gain access to services and supports to help them build and sustain healthy marriages.
Public Strategies, administrators of the OMI, believed that leveraging their website to provide and collect information was the most cost-effective solution for handling the overwhelming number of requests for information about the program. However, without a dedicated technical staff to react to the quickly changing information, the administrative staff needed a way to manage the content themselves without technical experience. In addition, it became apparent that a simple "website" would not allow the program to manage the data provided/required on a daily basis.
Because funding of the program is provided through Oklahoma Department of Human Services, the ODHS Data Services Division was requested to provide software to reduce the burden on the program.
JUMP Technology Services® was contracted by ODHS DSD to design a web-enabled information management system. The project team became a partnership of ODHS Data Services, Public Strategies, and JUMP Technology Services® all with a progressive vision for a flexible, extensible software system.
The result? An automated request management system that allows the program management to respond quickly to requests Volunteers manage their own events and program analysis reporting.
